Description
This Merkur 41C safety razor is an adjustable 3 piece razor and is an open comb version of the Merkur 42C. The 42C has a distinctly retro look to it. This razor is commonly referred to as a Merkur 1904, and rumoured to be a replica of an original Gillette 1904 classic. It is not claimed as such by Merkur however. The 42C is most suited to those with a coarse beard, or who only shave every few days. It has a short 75mm, 6 sided patterned handle with an end knob designed for a non-slip grip. The 41C is most attractive razor with a chrome plated finish. As a three piece razor the handle unscrews from the head piece for blade replacement. This razor accepts a standard DE razor blade.
Supplied in a Merkur branded cardboard box with a single Merkur blade.
