Description
Microbolt Kit comprising two bolts, two nuts and two washers. Microbolt pin kits, fit virtually all straight razors. The machine screws are made of brass and are used in place of the traditional pin. They are of sufficient length to fit any straight razor. To use, arrange the washers if needed, push the pin through and secure it with the supplied brass nut. Once tight just nip the excess of with some sharp pliers and smooth off the edges. That’s all there is to it, and microbolts allow you to take the razor apart without scale damage should this be necessary for cleaning or restoration work. Can be tightened with small or snipe-nosed pliers but we do recommend the special miniature wrench which we also sell.
