Hand made in small batches these beautifully scented aftershaves have powerful astringent, anti-bacterial, moisturising and skin toning properties which help to close pores and soothe the skin. They use the finest denatured alcohol and marry that with generous amounts of soothing witch hazel extract and aloe vera juice to calm and cool the skin, post shave. They then add a quantity of non-comedogenic (non-blocking) vegetable glycerine and sodium lactate in order to boost each bottles moisturising power.
Spitfire is a scent that Kerry from Phoenix & Beau designed around the memories he had of his Grandfather, who was a WW2 Veteran of North Africa and Italy. An avid pipe smoker his “Papa” had an almost tangible air of leather and tobacco that seemed to follow him wherever he went. So for this fragrance Kerry took the crispness of juniper and blended that with the freshness of bergamot, the woodiness of cedarwood and laid all three on to a base of warming leather and rich tobacco. With an old fashioned and grounding scent this Spitfire Post Shave Lotion compliments their Tallow Shave Soap and Post Shave Balm.
