This service is the engraving of a razor you are purchasing from us at the same time or which you are sending in for honing.
Unless agreed otherwise, this will be on the reverse side of the blade or, in the case of the Dovo Astrale, on the escutcheon plate. If you have particular requirements as to size or font please advise, otherwise we will use our discretion. Where a blade is being engraved it is not restricted to initials, it could be a full name or phrase. However, clearly the more letters involved, the smaller they will be. Please message us with exactly what you wish to see engraved plus a description of preferred font, if any. Please allow up to a week for this service – the work is not done by us but by a local engraver. Where you have a razor engraved that becomes a bespoke item of course and cannot be returned. We will also certainly need to hone the razor. As this involves abrasive stones it can lead to some scratching near the edge.
