Description
Following the success of its sister strop for straight razors, the Supex 77-1 Strop is a large robust paddle strop designed for knife sharpening. The strop has easily interchangeable beds. It is supplied with one napped leather bed but further beds are also available. The colour of the strop bed may vary from that illustrated. Each bed is secured to the strop through the use of magnetic strips. We recommend that the bed supplied is used with either Finox, Chromox or a 1 micron diamond paste after using an additional pasting bed with 6 micron diamond paste. Knives should be washed before use after stropping on pastes. Unlike the Supex77 for razors, this strop is not sprung. Bed size approx. 295 x 75 mm. Overall size approx. 460 x 77 mm.
