Description
Spotted oak seems rather mis-named as it is not spotty at all. The grain is unusual and often gives an effect of flames or of twisted roots. The blade of this 6/8 razor is singing hollowed and bears the historic gold sheep and wolf mark. This is a historic mark and is for decorative and not informative purposes.
The blade has a mirror finish to both sides, with jimping to both the lower and upper sides of the tang. The razor is supplied in a Thiers Issard Barenia leather wallet (colour may vary). N.B. As with all natural materialsthe colouring and patterning of the spotted oak will vary from one razor to another.
