Description
This starter kit for straight razors from Thiers Issard contains everything required to begin straight razor shaving. The kit includes a razor, strop, stropping paste, shave brush, a TI aloe vera shaving soap and an alum block for skincare after shaving. The razor supplied is an 5/8 shoulderless hollow ground razor with a satin finish to the blade and black plastic handles, equivalent to our TI Basic Black – IE030136. The paddle strop is sprung to give progressive resistance to pressure and has one side covered in smooth leather and the other in napped leather for pasting. It is approx. 353 mm in total length with the leather being approx. 217 x 35 mm. The black shaving brush is pure badger hair. The kit is presented in a well fitting cardboard box with each item packed separately.
The razor is supplied “shave ready”. Unlike some retailers, our razors are not supplied as they come from the factory. We individually prepare all the razors we sell. For full details see our policy.
