Description

This vintage H M Christensen razor is a 6/8 size with a round point, plain spine and composite scales of a faux ivory design and colour.

There are a couple of areas of corrosion as shown in the images, but the rest of the blade and scales are fine so I would rate it overall as being in good condition. The tang bears the legend “H.M.Christensen Co, Brockton, Mass.” on the front side of the tang and “Warranted” on the reverse.

H.M.Christensen Co. was founded by Henry M. Christensen and was originally located at 21 Grand, Brockton in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. In 1900 they moved to 987 Montello Street and in 1905 the firm was sold to Carl A. Bohlin and Carl D. Fhyr. They went out of business in 1957 or 1958.
