New to our range of Ralf Aust razors this 7/8 version has a carbon steel satin finished blade and stylish contemporary olivewood scales. It has the usual “Ralf Aust Solingen” mark on the tang and the “Solingen Handarbeit” – handmade in Solingen – mark on the blade.
This large razor with a square point is for a more experienced straight razor user looking for a larger razor with some weight.
We have chosen this version with olivewood scales, something we have elsewhere but not with a 7/8 blade. This is a new razor for us and one which would strengthen any collection. The spine has a flower pattern laser etched on to the top – again something we have added to some of the razors which make up our expanded Ralf Aust range. The tang has jimping to the upper and lower tang. All Ralf Aust razors have a full hollow ground blade.
As a natural material the grain and colouring on each razor will differ. Images are not necessarily of a razor we have in stock.
